Item description: Anti-bacterial, eco-friendly flexible cutting boards - the ideal solution for parents concerned with food safety. Made of Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU) - a material often used for making kitchen and medical products such as intravenous injection tubes, it is 100% BPA-free and heat-resistant up to 150 degree celsius. Two types of the cutting boards are available: arkshell and charcoal.
Difference between Arkshell and Charcoal boards: Arkshell can help with the removal of toxins and absorb gases and has been used as a form of traditional medicine in Korea. Charcoal boards are naturally anti-odor - ideal for use when cutting meat and fish, to prevent odor from staying on the board.
Note: There is no need to wash the cutting boards with boiling water, as they are naturally anti-bacterial. However, if you prefer, you can rinse the cutting boards with boiling water by laying the board on a flat surface and pouring boiling water over it. Keep flat after use. DO NOT roll up the board and boil it in water, as boiling the board for an extended period will change the shape of the board permanently.
